1 quart Apples (peeled and sliced)
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Sugar
1 tsp. Lemon Juice
Peel and core apples and cut into pieces
Put apples, water, sugar and lemon juice in a large sauce pan and simmer until tender. Mash up the apples mixture until it is the consistency you like.
Store applesauce in container in frig to cool. You can also jar some up for the winter using standard canning methods
